Czech Republic has received the leading technology Scale-up from Slovakia, which is opening an office in Brno
Slovak technology company Sensoneo announced the opening of new office space in the Brno Technology Park. The company with innovative solutions for waste management, which currently employs more than 130 people, has its technologies deployed in 85 countries around the world. Sensoneo promises to cooperation with new talented IT developers with whom it will be able to further to move forward and innovate the world of waste management.
The company, which was founded in 2017 has grown over the past 7 years into one of world leaders in smart waste management. As the only company in the world has already implemented software solutions for backup systems in 5 countries (Ireland, Romania, Hungary, Malta and Slovakia) and their ultrasonic sensors for monitoring the fullness
of waste bins is used by the city of Madrid, among others, where they are part of the largest smart waste installation in the world, with more than 11 thousand. Sensoneo is also one of the most promising Slovak technology companies with great growth potential.
Last summer, the company closed the investment Series A, in which it raised EUR 6.2 million. For the year 2023, it also recorded revenues of more than 8.5 million EUR, recording a profit for the first time and getting into the black.
The company’s rapid growth was also praised by in the Deloitte Fast50 CEE ranking for 2023, where the company ranked 25 out of 15 countries. The company ranked 25th in the CEE region thanks to its 988% revenue growth over the four-year period from 2019 to 2022.
The firm is using the investment to professionalize its teams, stabilize the firm in its rapid growth and, most importantly, to further growth and expansion, which is also to be served by the new team of employees in Brno.

Sensoneo plans to target a team of around 30 people in Brno in the first phase. It is currently focusing
primarily on backend developers working with .NET technology and QA engineers.
